Customer Reviews. I'm not the most dextrous person in the world, and my motherboard's a little crowded, so it took me longer than I'd like to admit getting the clips to latch.
Great performance compared to stock cooling on my 2.9Ghz Phenom II X3 (with unlocked 4th core). It took idle temps from 27°C down to 22°C, and max temps from 65°C down to 35°C (measured after running Prime95 for an hour). Impressive for a cooler! The fan is slightly louder than stock at full speed, but definitely not enough to be distracting.
Very pleased with this purchase.

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler with 120mm PWM Fan (RR-212E-20PK-R2)
Installed this item on a Core i5 2500k and have been using it for some time now. After monitoring it's temps after several hours of Prime95 and other programs, I am very satisfied with this item. i purchased this for 36 dollars, at that price point it is one of the best heatsinks I have heard of. Consistently gets great reviews from professional sites, which is the main reason I bought it. Temps for my system was around 25-30celsius idle and 45-54c avg on full load with Arctic Silver 5 TIM. Temps were taken from program core temp v1.0.
Cooler is very light, has excellent mounting system for socket 1155, isn't too tall, and is pretty darn quiet.
Must note, the main difference between this Evo version and the Hyper plus version is that the heat pipes are grouped together touching each other instead of spread apart and has more uniform base.
Highly recommended
Pretty awesome cooler. Only took 15 minutes to install and works like a charm. I have a Phenom II x4 965 3.4 ghz O.C.'d to 3.8 ghz. which are famous for running hot. Before with the stock cooler Idle 39c and Full Load 61c and now Idle is 34c and Full Load is 49c running prime at 3.8 ghz. Note that I only have the one fan running in a push config. but plan on getting another to pull. Should be good for another 3c or 4c decrease. I almost forgot to mention for all those concerned about the height for ram, the Corsair XMS3 ram is 32mm high and the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO is 37mm. Would highly recommend this 212 EVO.

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler, RR-B10-212P-G1
I purchased this product at the suggestion of others, hoping I would see the results they had described. Before install, my cpu would hover at temperatures around the 60's and 70's. Now, it sits cooly in the 40's and is ready for a potential future overclock. Install wasn't too tough, considering I didnt read the instructions and I am not that experienced in computer building (just finished my first ever build). I am running the cooler in a haf 912 case with a asus p8p67 pro motherboard and an intel i5 2500k at the heart of the system. Hope this helps!
from stock cooler, dropped my Phenom x2 (unlocked to 4) from 43 to 29 idle temp. Its a fairly tall fan, so you may need to move around some case fans if they are directly above the processor. Setting up was tedious but straightforward, and easier than installing the stock fan because you didn't have to shove your hand into small spaces. You DO have to remove your motherboard to install this fan. I had previously used only all copper heatsinks, but this one is just as good or better than the V1 cooler i purchased on a previous build. Absolutely recommend this product.
